London Development Agency
The London Development Agency (LDA) was an organization set up by the Greater London Authority to promote economic growth and development in London. Established in 2000, its primary goal was to enhance the city's economic prospects and support regeneration projects, particularly in disadvantaged areas. The LDA worked on various initiatives, including improving transport, housing, and skills training, aiming to create jobs and boost local communities. In 2012, its functions were transferred to the Greater London Authority, reflecting a strategic shift in how London’s development is managed.
