LNG terminals

LNG terminals are facilities that handle liquefied natural gas (LNG). They receive LNG shipments, which are natural gas cooled to a liquid state for easier transport. At the terminal, the LNG is offloaded, stored in large tanks, and then regasified, converting it back to gas form for distribution through pipelines. These terminals can be import facilities, bringing LNG into a country, or export facilities, sending LNG abroad.
