Linda Burney

Linda Burney is an Australian politician and member of the Australian Labor Party. She represents the Division of Barton in the House of Representatives, having been elected in 2016. Burney is notable for being the first Aboriginal woman elected to the House of Representatives. Before her federal role, she served in the New South Wales Parliament and held various positions, including Minister for Community Services.
