Built in the 18th century as a stately residence, it was later repurposed to house Ireland’s legislative bodies. Today, it hosts sessions of both the Dáil Éireann (lower house) and the Seanad Éireann (upper house). The building is also a symbol of Irish democracy and history, featuring impressive architecture and historic significance.
