LC circuit

An LC circuit is a basic electronic circuit made up of an inductor (L) and a capacitor (C). It stores energy in the magnetic field of the inductor and the electric field of the capacitor. When the circuit is energized, the energy oscillates back and forth between the inductor and capacitor, creating an alternating current. This oscillation produces oscillating electromagnetic fields, allowing the circuit to generate radio waves or filter signals in radios and other electronic devices. LC circuits are essential in tuning and timing applications in electronics, making them fundamental in various technologies.
