Lacrosse

Lacrosse is a fast-paced team sport that combines elements of basketball and hockey. Players use a small, shallow net attached to a stick, called a crosse, to catch, carry, and throw a solid rubber ball into the opponent's goal. The objective is to score points by getting the ball into the net. There are different versions, including field lacrosse, played outdoors on a large rectangular field, and box lacrosse, played indoors in smaller spaces. The sport requires teamwork, strategy, and skill, and has a rich history rooted in Native American traditions.
