Komsomol

Komsomol, officially known as the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League, was the youth organization of the Communist Party in the Soviet Union, active from 1918 to 1991. It aimed to prepare young people aged 14 to 28 for roles in Soviet society, promoting communist ideology, education, and solidarity. Members participated in community service, political activities, and ideological training, fostering loyalty to the Soviet system. Komsomol served as a stepping stone to adult political involvement and was an important part of Soviet social and cultural life for decades.
