The Komsomol
The Komsomol, officially known as the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League, was a Soviet youth organization founded in 1918. It aimed to promote communist ideals among young people, encouraging them to engage in political activities, education, and labor. Komsomol members were often involved in various social and economic projects, supporting the goals of the Communist Party. The organization played a significant role in cultivating loyalty to the state and contributed to the socialization of Soviet youth until its decline after the fall of the Soviet Union in the early 1990s.
