Kommtzgesetz
The Kommtzgesetz, or "Law of Commutative Property," is a principle in mathematics that states that the order in which two numbers are added or multiplied does not affect the result. For example, in addition, \( a + b \) is the same as \( b + a \); in multiplication, \( a \times b \) equals \( b \times a \). This law shows the flexibility in mathematical operations, allowing us to rearrange numbers for easier calculation without changing the outcome. It’s a fundamental concept used in various fields, including algebra and arithmetic.
