Knowledge Claims
Knowledge claims are statements or assertions that someone believes to be true or valid. They express ideas, facts, or beliefs, such as "Water boils at 100°C" or "Exercise improves health." Evaluating a knowledge claim involves examining the evidence and reasoning behind it to determine if it is reliable, accurate, and well-supported. In essence, knowledge claims are our expressions of what we think is true, and understanding how to assess them helps us distinguish between well-founded knowledge and misinformation.
