King Solomon
King Solomon was an ancient Hebrew ruler, renowned for his wisdom, wealth, and building projects, including the First Temple in Jerusalem. He is a prominent figure in the Bible, particularly in the books of Kings and Proverbs. Solomon is famous for his ability to resolve difficult disputes, exemplified by the story of two women claiming to be the mother of a baby; he proposed to divide the child to determine the true mother. His reign, often seen as a golden age, is associated with peace and prosperity, but also with challenges, including a gradual decline in Israel’s unity.
