Kartarpur Corridor

The Kartarpur Corridor is a special passage that connects the Indian city of Dera Baba Nanak to the Indian side of the Guru Nanak Darbar Sahib in Pakistan. It was established to allow Indian Sikh pilgrims to visit the holy site in Pakistan without needing a visa. Opened in 2019, the corridor promotes religious freedom and cross-border cooperation, enabling millions of devotees to unite at the birthplace of Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism, with ease and safety. It symbolizes religious harmony and regional peace between India and Pakistan.
