Karbala is a city in Iraq known for the pivotal Battle of Karbala in 680 CE, a defining event in Islamic history. During this battle, Imam Hussein, a grandson of the Prophet Muhammad, and his small group were tragically killed by the forces of the Umayyad caliph. This event symbolizes the struggle against injustice, tyranny, and oppression in Islamic tradition.
