James Randi
James Randi (1928–2020) was a Canadian-American magician and scientific skeptic known for challenging paranormal and pseudoscientific claims. Using his skills as an illusionist, he demonstrated how many supposed psychic abilities, like telepathy or clairvoyance, could be faked or explained through trickery. Randi founded the James Randi Educational Foundation and offered a million-dollar prize to anyone who could demonstrate a supernatural ability under controlled conditions, though no one ever claimed it. His work aimed to promote critical thinking and scientific skepticism, encouraging people to question extraordinary claims and rely on evidence-based explanations.
