James Irwin

James Irwin was an American astronaut and engineer who flew to the Moon as the lunar module pilot of Apollo 15 in 1971. He was the eighth person to walk on the lunar surface, spending over three days on the Moon and conducting scientific experiments. After his spaceflight career, Irwin became an advocate for space exploration and later founded the High Flight Foundation, promoting Christian faith and science.
