Islamic Summit Conferences
Islamic Summit Conferences are gatherings of leaders from Muslim-majority countries, aimed at promoting cooperation and solidarity among member states. These conferences primarily address political, economic, and social issues affecting the Islamic world, such as development, peace, and security. The first conference took place in 1969 and led to the establishment of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Through dialogue and consensus, these summits seek to enhance unity among Muslims, respond to global challenges, and strengthen the voice of Islamic nations in international affairs.
