Abdulaziz Bouteflika
Abdulaziz Bouteflika was an Algerian politician and the younger brother of former President Abdelaziz Bouteflika. He served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1963 to 1979 and was a senior diplomat. Although not officially president, Abdulaziz was a powerful and influential figure within the government and the ruling party. His role helped shape Algeria's foreign policy during his tenure. Despite his behind-the-scenes influence, he never held the top executive position himself. His family’s political prominence is closely associated with Algeria's post-independence history.
