Irish Parliament

The Irish Parliament, known as the Oireachtas, is the national legislature of Ireland. It consists of two main parts: the Dáil Éireann (House of Representatives), where elected deputies make laws and represent the public, and the Seanad Éireann (Senate), which reviews and suggests amendments to legislation. The government is led by the Taoiseach (Prime Minister), who is appointed by the President based on parliamentary support. The Parliament debates, amends, and approves laws, shaping Ireland's governance and policies within a parliamentary democracy framework.
