IQ distribution

IQ distribution refers to how intelligence test scores are spread among people. It follows a bell-shaped curve, or normal distribution, where most scores cluster around the average (typically set at 100). A small percentage of people score very low (below 70) or very high (above 130). This means that while many individuals have average intelligence, fewer individuals exhibit significantly high or low intelligence levels. Understanding this distribution helps in recognizing that intelligence is diverse and that most people perform around the middle of the scale.
