International Workers of the World (IWW)
The Industrial Workers of the World (IWW), founded in 1905, is a labor organization dedicated to promoting the rights of workers across various industries. Known as the "Wobblies," the IWW advocates for better working conditions, higher wages, and improved labor rights through direct action and solidarity among workers. Unlike traditional unions, which often focus on specific trades or industries, the IWW seeks to unite all workers, regardless of their job, to challenge the capitalist system and create a society where workers have control over their labor and workplaces.
