International Sailing Federation

The International Sailing Federation, now known as World Sailing, is the global governing body responsible for overseeing the sport of sailing and yacht racing. It establishes rules, organizes international competitions, and promotes fair play and safety across all levels of the sport. World Sailing also works to develop sailing worldwide, support athletes, and coordinate efforts among national sailing organizations to ensure consistency and the growth of sailing as a competitive and recreational activity.
