ISAF (International Sailing Federation)
The International Sailing Federation (ISAF), now known as World Sailing, is the global governing body for the sport of sailing. Established in 1907, it oversees sailing competitions, ensures fair play, and promotes the sport worldwide. ISAF sets the rules for various sailing events, organizes championships, and develops sailing as a recognized sport at all levels. It also helps promote sailing's growth and accessibility, working with national associations and encouraging youth participation. Through its efforts, ISAF supports the development of sailors and fosters international cooperation in sailing-related activities.
