International Permafrost Association

The International Permafrost Association (IPA) is a global organization that brings together scientists and researchers studying permafrost—ground that remains frozen for at least two consecutive years. Its goal is to facilitate international collaboration, share knowledge, and promote understanding of permafrost's role in Earth's climate, ecosystems, and infrastructure.
