Innovation Corps (I-Corps)
The Innovation Corps (I-Corps) is a program designed to help scientists and engineers transition their research ideas into real-world products and businesses. Established by the National Science Foundation (NSF), I-Corps provides training, mentorship, and funding to teams, enabling them to better understand market needs and customer feedback. Participants learn how to validate their ideas through interviews and experiments, fostering an entrepreneurial mindset and increasing the likelihood of their innovations making a positive impact in society. The goal is to enhance economic growth and encourage collaboration between academia and industry.
