Implicit Grant

The Implicit Grant is a method used in web applications for gaining limited access to user information without requiring a username and password. It happens during the authorization process, where users are redirected to a service provider (like a social media site) to log in and grant permission. Instead of sending back an authorization code, the service directly includes an access token in the URL, which the application can then use to access user data. This method is quicker but is less secure than others, as the token can be exposed in the browser’s address bar.
