Image Formation

Image formation is the process through which we create visual representations of objects, commonly seen in photography, optics, and vision. When light bounces off or passes through an object, it can be captured by a lens or similar device, focusing the light to create a clear picture. In cameras, for instance, lenses gather light and project it onto a sensor or film, forming an image. In the human eye, light enters through the cornea and lens, which help to focus it onto the retina, allowing us to see and interpret the world around us.
