Ibans

IBAN, or International Bank Account Number, is a standardized system used to identify bank accounts across different countries. It helps facilitate international money transfers by providing a unique identifier for each account, which includes the country code, check digits, and the bank account number. The IBAN reduces errors and enhances the efficiency of transactions, ensuring funds reach the correct destination swiftly. Each country has its own format for IBANs, but they all follow a similar structure, typically containing up to 34 characters. Using an IBAN helps banks process international payments more reliably.
