Hundred Days Offensive

The Hundred Days Offensive (August 8 to November 11, 1918) was a series of Allied attacks during World War I that ultimately led to the defeat of Germany. It began with a successful push by British and Canadian forces at Amiens, which broke through German lines. Over the following months, Allied forces, including American troops, launched multiple offensives, regaining territory and weakening German defenses. This relentless pressure culminated in the signing of an armistice on November 11, 1918, effectively ending the war. The offensive marked a turning point, showcasing improved coordination and tactics among the Allies.
