Helsinki Agreement

The Helsinki Agreement refers to the Final Act of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe (CSCE), signed in 1975. It aimed to improve East-West relations during the Cold War by fostering dialogue among European nations, including those in the Soviet bloc. The agreement covered three main areas: security in Europe, cooperation in economics and science, and human rights.
