Gramática Generativa
Gramática Generativa, or Generative Grammar, is a theory of language developed by linguist Noam Chomsky. It focuses on understanding the underlying structure of languages, proposing that humans are born with an innate capacity to understand and produce language. This theory suggests that all languages share a common structure, or universal grammar, enabling us to generate an infinite number of sentences. Generative Grammar aims to describe the rules and principles that govern language formation, helping linguists analyze and compare different languages, while also exploring the cognitive aspects of how we acquire and use language.
