GNSS

Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) refer to a group of satellites that provide geolocation and time information to receivers on Earth. The most well-known GNSS is GPS, but others include Russia's GLONASS, Europe's Galileo, and China's BeiDou. GNSS works by having satellites broadcast signals that a receiver picks up to calculate its precise location using the time it takes for the signals to arrive. This technology is essential for navigation in cars, planes, and smartphones, as well as for applications in surveying, agriculture, and disaster response, enabling accurate positioning worldwide.
