GLOBE Project
The GLOBE Project, or Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment, is an international education and science program aimed at engaging students and the public in collecting and sharing data about the environment. Launched in 1995, it connects schools around the world, allowing participants to observe and study local ecosystems, weather, and climate. The collected data is used in scientific research to understand global environmental changes. By involving students in real-world scientific work, the GLOBE Project fosters environmental awareness and encourages a hands-on approach to learning about our planet's health and sustainability.
