Glagolitic culture

Glagolitic culture refers to the influence and legacy of the Glagolitic script, an ancient writing system used by Slavic peoples in the 9th century, created by Saints Cyril and Methodius. This script was instrumental in the development of Slavic literature and language, enabling the translation of religious texts and fostering literacy. It played a key role in the cultural and spiritual identity of the Slavs, particularly among those in regions like present-day Croatia. Although it was eventually supplanted by the Cyrillic script, Glagolitic remains a symbol of early Slavic cultural heritage and identity.
