Ghiyasuddin Tughlaq
Ghiyasuddin Tughlaq was the founder of the Tughlaq dynasty in India, ruling from 1320 to 1325. He came to power after the decline of the Delhi Sultanate and aimed to stabilize and expand his realm. Known for his administrative reforms, he sought to improve infrastructure and military organization. However, his reign was marked by conflicts and challenges, including revolts and the need to maintain control over a vast territory. Ghiyasuddin died under mysterious circumstances, paving the way for his son, Muhammad Tughlaq, to succeed him. His legacy remains important in the history of medieval India.
