George Kelly

George Kelly was a psychologist known for developing Personal Construct Theory, which views people as active participants in shaping their understanding of the world. He proposed that we create mental frameworks, or "constructs," to interpret experiences and predict future events. These constructs help us navigate our lives by allowing us to categorize and make sense of our experiences. Essentially, Kelly believed that our perceptions and interpretations of reality are unique to each individual and that personal growth comes from developing and refining these constructs through new experiences and reflections.
