Fragile States Index

The Fragile States Index (FSI) measures how stable or unstable countries are by assessing various factors, such as political unrest, economic decline, and social issues. Developed by the Fund for Peace, it uses data to rank countries from most to least fragile. A higher score indicates greater risk for conflict, humanitarian crises, or government failure. The FSI helps policymakers, organizations, and researchers understand global stability, identify at-risk countries, and direct resources for development and peace-building efforts. Essentially, it provides a snapshot of a nation's ability to cope with challenges and maintain order.
