Flash

Flash refers to the now-legacy multimedia software platform created by Adobe, used for producing animations, web applications, and games. It allowed developers to add interactive content to websites, such as animations and video. Flash operated based on ActionScript programming language and used the Flash Player to run content in web browsers. Due to security issues and the rise of modern web standards, like HTML5, Flash was officially discontinued at the end of 2020. Today, most content that used Flash has migrated to more secure and efficient technologies.
