FEESST, or Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing with Sensory Testing, is a medical procedure used to assess how well a person swallows. During the test, a small fiberoptic camera is inserted through the nose to visualize the throat while the patient swallows food or liquids. This allows doctors to see any issues with swallowing mechanics.
