
Fazl-i-Haq Khairabadi
Fazl-i-Haq Khairabadi was a prominent Indian Islamic scholar, lawyer, and revolutionary in the 19th century. Born in 1797, he is best known for his opposition to British colonial rule in India. He played a significant role during the Indian Rebellion of 1857, advocating for the rights of Indians and promoting the idea of independence. Khairabadi was also a respected figure in Urdu literature and theology. His legacy includes a commitment to social justice and nationalism, making him an important historical figure in the context of India's struggle for freedom. He was ultimately captured and died in exile in 1861.
