Fatalism
Fatalism is the belief that all events are predetermined and inevitable, often influenced by destiny or divine will. In discussions of free will and divine foreknowledge, it raises questions about our ability to make choices. If everything is predetermined, can we truly exercise free will? Conversely, if a divine being knows the future, it might imply that our actions are already set, challenging the notion of personal agency. Thus, fatalism contrasts with the idea that individuals can shape their destinies through their decisions, highlighting a tension between determinism and human freedom.
