Evidence pyramid
The Evidence Pyramid is a way to rank types of information based on their reliability and strength in supporting claims. At the top are systematic reviews and meta-analyses, which combine results from multiple studies for a comprehensive view. Below them are randomized controlled trials, followed by cohort studies, case studies, and expert opinions. The higher up the pyramid, the more rigorous the research methods, making the findings more trustworthy. This hierarchy helps people evaluate the quality of evidence behind medical treatments, scientific claims, or any information they encounter.
