EuroQol
EuroQol, often referred to as EQ-5D, is a standardized tool used to measure health-related quality of life. It helps assess how a person's health status affects their daily activities and overall well-being. The EQ-5D questionnaire evaluates five areas: mobility, self-care, usual activities, pain/discomfort, and anxiety/depression. Respondents rate their health on a scale, which can then be used in research and healthcare to compare different treatments, estimate overall population health, and inform health policy decisions. Essentially, it provides a common language for discussing health outcomes across diverse groups.
