European Institute for Gender Equality
The European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) is an agency of the European Union aimed at promoting gender equality across Europe. Established in 2006, it gathers and analyzes data, provides resources, and supports initiatives that address gender disparities in various areas, such as the workplace, education, and health. EIGE works with EU institutions and member states to develop and implement policies that promote equal rights and opportunities for all genders. Its goal is to create a more equal society, where everyone can participate fully and equally in social, political, and economic life.
