EU Institutions
EU institutions are the organizations that make decisions and manage the European Union. Key institutions include the European Parliament, where elected representatives debate laws; the European Commission, which proposes policies and oversees their implementation; the Council of the European Union, representing member countries’ governments to coordinate policies; and the European Court of Justice, which ensures laws are applied fairly. Together, these institutions work to create common policies, enforce rules, and promote cooperation among member states for economic stability, security, and shared interests across Europe.
