Epic Cycle

The Epic Cycle is a series of Ancient Greek poems that tell the story of the Trojan War and its heroes, including Achilles, Hector, and Odysseus. These poems, written in epic form, provide detailed accounts of battles, heroics, and divine interventions. Although the most famous are Homer’s "Iliad" and "Odyssey," the Epic Cycle consists of several other poems that together offer a comprehensive narrative of the Trojan legend. The cycle helped shape Greek mythology and literature, and while many of these works are lost, their stories influenced Western storytelling profoundly.
