
Eliot Ness
Eliot Ness was an American Prohibition agent best known for his efforts to enforce alcohol prohibition laws in the 1920s and 1930s. He led a team called "The Untouchables" in Chicago, which focused on combating organized crime, particularly targeting gangster Al Capone. Ness and his team gained a reputation for their determined and innovative methods to crack down on illegal activities. His work contributed to efforts that eventually led to Capone's conviction for tax evasion. Later, Ness became a city safety director in Cleveland, where he tackled corruption and crime. He remains a symbol of law enforcement integrity and determination.
