electric vehicle charging

Electric vehicle (EV) charging involves replenishing an EV's battery using electricity. There are different types of charging: Level 1 uses a standard household outlet, taking several hours; Level 2 uses a specialized home or public charging station and is faster, usually taking a few hours; and DC fast charging, found at public stations, rapidly charges the battery in about 30 minutes. Charging can be done at home or at charging stations, and many EVs come with apps to find nearby chargers and track energy use, enabling owners to conveniently manage their vehicle's power needs.
