Digital Span Test
The Digital Span Test is a psychological assessment that measures working memory. In the test, participants listen to a sequence of numbers read aloud and are asked to recall them in the same order (forward span) or in reverse order (backward span). The length of the number sequence increases with each successful recall until the participant fails to repeat it correctly. This test helps researchers and clinicians understand a person's cognitive abilities, particularly how well they can temporarily hold and manipulate information, which is important for various cognitive tasks in daily life.
