CT scan (Computed Tomography scan)

A CT scan, or Computed Tomography scan, is a medical imaging method that combines multiple X-ray images taken from different angles to create cross-sectional pictures of the body. This allows doctors to see detailed internal structures, such as organs and tissues, more clearly than with traditional X-rays. CT scans are used to diagnose various conditions, assess injuries, and guide treatment plans. The process is non-invasive and usually quick, involving a machine that rotates around the patient while they lie on a table.
