Computerized Tomography

Computerized Tomography, commonly known as CT or CAT scan, is a medical imaging technique that uses X-rays to create detailed pictures of the inside of the body. During a CT scan, a series of X-ray images are taken from different angles and then processed by a computer to produce cross-sectional images, or "slices," of organs and tissues. This allows doctors to see complex structures in greater detail than standard X-rays. CT scans are widely used for diagnosing illnesses, injuries, and abnormalities, providing essential information for effective treatment planning.
